Do we invent laws of physics or do we discover them?
I think we discover them. I should say – it’s the human process, the scientific method. How to put it… we’re attempting to discover the laws. At any given time the laws we have in our hands we might not be the true laws. But we get better and closer approximations. It’s complicated process where you’re giving what you know, you try to make a guess that explains simply all those phenomena and then you test it against things that you haven’t tried before – and then you might find that it works well, or you might find that you have to improve it. Question is – are we converging to some simple set of laws?

More – very soon…
